Leading the way in
Children's Health

St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, located on the campus of St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ, is a leader in comprehensive healthcare for children. Recognized for our high standard of quality and compassionate pediatric care, St. Joseph’s is a New Jersey-designated children’s hospital offering a broad spectrum of services for patients from birth to 21 years of age and their families.

When a child is ill or injured, their condition and their treatment can affect the child’s overall development for years to come. It is for this reason that we “treat the whole child,” and why we have implemented a team approach to treatment. The various pediatric specialists and subspecialists at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital share their expertise to best identify and anticipate complications that may impact the child’s state-of-mind and future development. St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital practices family-centered care. We strive to make children and families feel safe and help them understand and cope with the challenges of illness.

Blazing new paths in leading-edge technology and care, our Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Center was the first to use telemedicine via the patented e-feed connectivity system, linking children locally and around the globe to expert physicians and services. Our cutting edge Genetics program put the latest research and clinical trials in the hands of our patients and their families. St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital also offers the expertise of board certified pediatric subspecialists across a variety of medical and surgical concentrations outside the hospital setting. Care is provided within subspecialty centers in Paramus, Paterson and Wayne.
